CN GALLERY — JONGNO, SEOUL (2026)

At the Diary of the Season exhibition at CN Gallery in Jongno, Adam Bazlik exhibited three art toy sculptures and one painting. Through the RUST ENGINE series, the artist captures his current view of the world, people, and technology within it.
The sculpture Cyrcon SAND forms the foundation of the RUST ENGINE series. It is made entirely of sand, symbolizing nature and time.
Cyrcon RUST ENGINE I reveals technology beneath its sandy surface, but only subtly. It symbolizes a period when people used technology to a much lesser extent than they do today.
Cyrcon RUST ENGINE II symbolizes the present. The precise line in the middle represents the current moment and people’s conscious effort to separate themselves from technology at certain times. At the same time, it also reflects human dependence on it.
